ARTICLE: CathISO -- CATHOLICS IN SEARCH OF

Dear Friends:

Below is the basic information and operational procedures on CathISO (Catholics In Search Of), a subgroup of the Catholic Goan Network, designed to help Catholic singles find suitable marriage partners. It supplements the FAQ and is also posted on CGN website's ARTICLE link:

Interested persons first sign on-line at http://www.catholic-goan-network.net and complete the brief Register/Join Us form (upper right hand of the website). A brief personal profile is simultaneously emailed to Pdesousa3@cs.com

The personal profile will include age, education, height/weight, marital status and occupation/skills. It may highlight one's strong selling points and the typical partner in search of, including things such as drinking, smoking, personality traits or other preferences.

Eligible persons are then subscribed to CathISO@yahoogroups.com, a restricted list, and their name, age, sex, location and screen name entered in the database. The personal profile may then be fine-tuned and posted to the Yahoogroups site's "Files" link, which also has provision for Chat Sessions and Photos. 

Eligible candidates should be proactive and freely interact with other Catholic singles in the pool. General postings to the list are first initiated and pursued through direct one-on-one communication with respective individuals. Topics may include the full gamut of love, relationships, romance, etc. Only caste may not be discussed or made an issue. Courtesy and mutual request go a long way in developing and cementing meaningful relationships.

Newbies are an invaluable resource and think-tank for realistic goals and ingenuous perspectives. We need to focus on novel ideas or suggestions to jointly surmount all obstacles. It is up to eligible members in the pool, to really make things happen.

We leave it to the ingenuity of individual members to develop a sense of bonding and camaraderie and hopefully things will click. It takes 'Two to Tango' and active member participation is vital.  Prolonged periods of silence only leads to stagnation and stymies success. Members need to initiate and maintain ongoing dialog(ue).

The objective is to provide a means towards attaining the desired end, marriage; and hopefully destiny should take over. Sincere commitment and empathy go a long way toward fulfilling the cherished goal which bring members to CathISO. 

The personal profile is for initial screening, but individuals must verify all pertinent details before taking the Quantum leap for lifetime.
