The Table and the Chair

Here I am, LORD!

I thank you and praise you
for all your blessings!

I will delight in everything
you have given me.

I put my trust in you.

You are always at my side.
and today I will have everything I need.

Forgive me for the times
I have disappointed you.

Guide me and teach me.
Fill me with your power.
So that in everything I do
I will be a delight to you!

AMEN!

Terrible Dream

I'm feeling rather ragged.
I'm feeling rather rough.
I'm looking like I stayed up late,
and didn't sleep enough.

I went to sleep at bedtime
and dreamt all through the night,
but when I woke this morning
I was feeling far from right.

For though I drifted quickly,
and slumbered long and deep,
I'm totally exhausted
'cause I dreamed I couldn't sleep!

Precious Gift

A gift from God, Jesus truly is.
A blessing from heaven, so that we may live.

I thank thee O Father, for sending Him to us.
And in His words we live and will always put our trust.

Through Him you may have life and protection too.
From the evil one who desires to devour you.

I say this to thee all, so it maybe well with thee.
Accept Jesus as the Christ of God and listen to what He has to say to thee.

Heaven Sent

Once upon a time in a land across the sea.
A child was born in a manger to a virgin called Mary.

This child was not conceived of the flesh but of the will of God.
A child who's name is Jesus, the true Son of God.

Jesus was sent from heaven as our guiding light.
To cleanse us of our sin and give us eternal life.

I pray that you accept him and take his words to heart.
Set aside the ways of the world and embrace the love of Jesus in your heart.
